Picking the right Saiga conversion can sometimes be challenging. To help you get started think of two things, Style and Budget.

In terms of style consider its intended use. The basic Saiga has a full length barrel and fixed stock. ETAC can modify the barrel to the Krinkov style (GoGun Krinker). Or you might want a folding stock (GoGun Sidekick). So decide those first, Barrel and Stock. Everything else goes from there. Most options can be done to both styles but there are some restrictions due to individual configuration.

If Budget is a concern, go with the GoGun Saiga GoodGuy. It’s a great deal and has all ETAC improvements and ETAC build quality. Like all Saiga GoGuns, it complies with 922r and has everything you need to advance your Saiga shooting. This is also an ideal gun for the hobbyist who wants to modify it by adding go fast or cool goodies later. $499 and you are ready to shoot.

Most action shooters (like IPSC style shotgun racing) require accuracy and reliability and will want a full length barrel with a fixed stock. They will then likely trick it out with all the Go Fast goodies GoGun specializes in. Although GoGun believes in value pricing, a fully tricked out GoGun Ripper-12 will likely pass the 2k mark. But, you can start with the full length barrel, fixed stock same basic gun and action as the Ripper-12 with our GoGun Saiga GoodGuy for $499 and add all the goodies later.

Conversely, an ideal backcountry self defense gun requires compactness power and portability, and longer range accuracy is not necessary. Fitting the bill to a T, for defense against North American predators, is a Krinkov barrel with a folding stock(GoGun Sidekick/Krinker). In states that allow it, the barrel may be made even more compact, making it easy to transport in the back country. Caution, state rules vary widely and ETAC cannot ship to state where it is prohibited (ALL NFA RULES APPLY). For $999, you can get an ideal weapon for this purpose that will add years of insurance in backcountry conditions. ETACs custom Lava Shield finish is very rugged in hostile environments. Which brings us to choice of finish. All our prices are for unfinished or industrial black paint which we really hate to do. It’s just not worthy, but for some customers it’s the right answer. We strongly recommend our Lava Shield finish option because its durable and really looks great. Color combinations can really make your Saiga stand out from the crowd. Even our lowest price GoGuns can look stunning with the right color combo.

Or you may just want all the goodies now. Gotta have em all. Or you want that really special looking weapon or unique configuration. Then you want to have our top of the line GoGun ShowGun. A one off, limited edition, with custom features. These are special babies that get lots of attention in the shop so they cost more than others. Of course it just depends what you want, but ball park costs for moderately tricked out ShowGun is about 2 to 3k. An all the goodies, multiple sights, lights, special paint, etc will probably run around 3 to 5k. The sky’s the limit and it’s certainly possible to exceed 5k if you try hard enough.
